The AGV was originally applied to the assembly of the sub-assembly line in the automotive industry. It adopts an all-round wheel train structure, which can keep running with the vehicle body in the assembly. It can be docked at different assembly stations according to the process requirements to realize the sub-assembly line. Flexible assembly, supporting mixed line production of different models/models, mainly used in engine assembly line and rear axle assembly line.
The data shows that the logistics operations are time-consuming, from high to low, followed by distribution + container recycling (65.6%), preparation + transportation (10.4%), sorting + transshipment (8.9%), storage + handling (7.7%), Unloading + transfer (7.4%). It can be seen that the transportation of materials is a high-frequency, long-consuming and costly operation in the logistics process. In the distribution process, AGV can be used to replace the mode of personnel operation equipment to reduce costs, improve efficiency and improve delivery quality.
