The complete hardware component typically consists of conveyor equipment, storage equipment, loading and sorting equipment, Rebatch equipment, Rebin equipment, packaging equipment, and sorting equipment. If the investment budget is small, or the actual requirements are low, the requirements for the degree of automation of the AGV are low, so that a part of the functionally automated storage system can be established without requiring all kinds of hardware devices. For example, most of China uses conveyor equipment to complete the construction of automated storage systems, and replaces manual handling with conveyor equipment to improve the efficiency of warehouse operations.
Conveying equipment: Usually refers to all kinds of conveyor belts, screw hoists, vertical hoists such as cargo handling equipment. At present, various types of AGVs, such as AGV forklifts, AGV turnover vehicles and other equipment, have become an important part of the conveyor equipment in the e-commerce automated storage system. AGV-type conveying equipment(AGV storage system) has higher flexibility and scheduling management optimisation, and will occupy an increasingly important position in the future e-commerce automated storage system.
However, at present, because of its speed and capacity, and the scheduling management algorithm may need to continue to improve, the price is relatively expensive and not suitable for large-scale use. It should be noted that in addition to handling goods, the AGV storage system conveying equipment can also be used as a batching device and a sorting device through special design and WCS control.
