Laser navigation is to install a precise laser reflector around the AGV's driving path. The AGV determines its current position and direction by emitting laser beams and collecting the laser beams reflected by the reflector at the same time, and through continuous trigonometric calculations. The biggest advantage of this technology is that the AGV positioning is accurate; the ground does not require other positioning facilities; the driving path can be flexible and changeable and can be suitable for a variety of on-site environments. It is currently the advanced navigation method preferred by many foreign AGV manufacturers. The disadvantage is manufacturing High cost and relatively harsh environmental requirements (external light, ground requirements, visibility requirements, etc.)

Natural navigation is to perceive the surrounding environment through laser sensors. Unlike laser navigation, there is no need to install reflectors or pillars for positioning around the AGV driving path. The positioning markers of natural navigation can be information such as walls and objects in the working environment. Compared with laser reflector navigation, the construction cost and cycle of natural navigation are lower.
